EHM Senior Solutions is excited to welcome a new high energy, friendly, customer focused person as our Scheduling and Intake Specialist to our Shared Services Home Health Division! This individual is responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process, establishing, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, managing the insurance verification and authorization and scheduling of patients with the intake team. Position is Half-time, ~20 hours a week, benefit eligible. Job duties are, but not limited to: Handle initial service inquiries from a variety of sources, explain services, mail pamphlets, and assist in coordinating referral information with admissions as well as insurance verification. Input new client information into computer system, ensuring accuracy, work with intake team/field staff to determine staff coverage of new patients. Follow up on hospitalization. Requirements: Must have intake experience with a health care environment (Home Health preferred). Must have experience with medical terminology, customer service. Must have experience with EPIC, Allscripts, Kinnser, My Ability, Availity, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to work in a fast paced, technical environment. This is not a remote/work from home eligible position. However, work from home will be required for rotating weekend on call.
