Provider Relations Advocates are accountable for a full range of provider relations and service interactions within Optum Serve, including n end-to-end provider claims / concerns, ease of use of provider portal, and support for training & development of external provider education programs. Our advocates support and nurture positive relationships between Optum Serve, providers, and program managers. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in end-to-end provider claims and help enhance provider experience Assist in efforts to enhance ease of use of provider portal and future services enhancements Support development and management of provider networks within assigned regions Help implement training and development of external providers through education programs in collaboration with our training teams Identify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting teams You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 1+ years of provider advocacy experience 1+ years of data entry experience 1+ years of experience within the healthcare or insurance industry Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Travel within territory up to 10% Currently resides within the state of Montana or is willing to relocate at your own expense Preferred Qualifications: Experience in continuous process, efficiency, and quality improvement Experience with military providers / programs Provider data management or other healthcare database maintenance Proficiency with MS TEAMS, SharePoint and Excel Soft Skill: Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
