As a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) at the GS-0201-13/14, you will be part of Workforce Policy and Innovation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for advising, evaluating, and developing government-wide hiring policies and regulations.

Qualifications
For the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the federal service or equivalent in the private or public sector which included: 1) participating in the development of hiring or workforce restructuring policy proposals, regulations, guidance, or agency requests for related hiring flexibilities; 2) providing advice and guidance on Federal HR policies and laws related to delegated examining, direct hiring authority, promotion and internal placement, non-competitive, or excepted service hiring authorities.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level.
For the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level in the federal service or equivalent in the private or public sector which included: 1) leading the development of hiring or workforce restructuring policy proposals, regulations or guidance; 2) identifying, attracting, or selecting individuals in support of changing organizational needs; 3) implementing hiring policy proposals, legislation, regulations, guidelines, or executive orders for government-wide use.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level.
