The Manager of RPMs and BDMs in Latin America takes ownership of current and new products, services, and solutions sales for assigned product portfolios (EMC). This role involves developing and executing sales strategies in collaboration with regional leadership and functional areas, i.e. Territory Directors. Fostering strong relationships with key partners and customer contacts and leveraging these relationships to Zebra's advantage. The manager is also responsible for delivering high-impact sales presentations and providing product training.
Develops and implements sales strategies for both existing and new products, services, and solutions with minimal guidance from the manager, taking on significant financial responsibilities. Proactively sells solutions either independently or in collaboration with Zebra's comprehensive product portfolio. When necessary, leverages relationships with other business units and external partners to deliver effective solutions. Builds strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, initiates, and leads customer presentations, and creates compelling value propositions. Recognized as an industry expert for advanced and complex products and solutions in Latin America. Collaborates with marketing, strategy, and product development teams to develop next-generation solutions and services within their area of expertise. Demonstrates proven success in business development, vertical markets knowledge and product launch initiatives.

Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for current and new products, services, and solutions.
- Proactively sell solutions independently or in conjunction with Zebra's broader product portfolio.
- Develop strong relationships with Account Managers, Key Partners, and Customer contacts.
- Create and deliver high-impact sales presentations such as Vertical Markets and Product & Solutions training.
Relationship Management:
- Leverage relationships with other business units and external partners to deliver solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Initiate and lead customer presentations and value proposition creation.
Industry Expertise:
- Be considered an industry-wide expert for advanced and complex products/solutions for the core Vertical Markets in Latin America.
- Work with Product & Solutions Marketing and Product Development teams to create next-generation solutions and services.
Business Development:
- Build business development strategies for assigned product portfolios (EMC).
- Drive execution by helping Regional Product Managers operationalize strategies.
- Represent Latin America in front of business units, guiding RPMs on day-to-day interactions to secure appropriate support and resources.
Knowledge and Expertise:
- Technical Skills - Help develop Zebra technical solutions, expert in certain areas.
- Vertical Knowledge - Understand use cases per vertical market where Zebra solutions can generate business outcomes.
- Sales Skills -Lead teams in developing advanced solution-selling concepts and partnership creation. Proven sales success and a record of achieving sales targets.
- Managerial Skills - Full knowledge of relevant business policies and practices. Strong ability to energize and lead a diverse team in terms of age, gender, maturity, location, and language.
- Business Acumen - Conduct root cause analysis and improve long-term profitability. Anticipate future customer needs and apply strategic and tactical market understanding.
- Market/Customer Knowledge - Apply strategic and tactical understanding of markets to ensure Zebra wins in the marketplace.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Builds Business Development strategy for the assigned Product Portfolios (EMC); drives execution helping Regional Product Managers to operationalize that strategy.
- Represents Latin America in front of Business Units guiding RPM´s on the day-to-day interaction to get appropriate support and resources to the region.
- Solve complex problems that may require unique solutions across geographies and industries.
- Lead problem resolution, identify appropriate resources, and mitigate future risks.
- Handle highly complex solutions, often with little precedent and across international borders.
Autonomy:
- Level of Guidance - Determine and pursue courses of action essential for achieving desired outcomes with broad autonomy.
- Takes Direction from Product & Solutions Regional Director.
Customer Interface:
- Role - Leads formal teams or manages sales personnel, including Regional Product Managers and Product BDMs.
- Level of Customer Contact - Engage with all levels within customers including the highest level of decision-makers on the largest and most complex systems.
- Main Level of Interaction - Define project customer interface and assist teams on the largest deals.
- Required Knowledge of Customer - Understand vertical industry direction and customer strategic business plans for the future.
Accountability:
- Business and Financial Impact - Manage sales and support resources directly or indirectly.
- Responsible for revenue margins and departmental expenses.
- Relative Size and Scope - Maintain a sustained high quota and results over multiple years.

- Types of Projects - Handle large complex deals and/or a large volume of moderate deals with high impact from run rate transactions.

Qualifications:Qualifications
- Bachelors or equivalent experience; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) common
- 8+ years of applicable work experience
- Helps develop Zebra technical solutions; expert in some areas
- Leads teams in development of advanced solution selling concepts and partnership creation; proven sales success only
- Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead others
