What you'll do...

A new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Business Development focused on the growth of our 340B program. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for340B program development, growth, and market expansion in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This unique opportunity will enable you to develop and implement strategiesthat achievebusiness goals while meeting customer needs.

- You have extensive 340B knowledge and experience growing contract pharmacy programs
- You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
- You have the ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing circumstances and market conditions
- You can navigate through uncertainty and ambiguity and keep the team focused on the end goal
- You are curious and continuously seek to improve your skills and knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, market development, and/or product development
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics and reimbursement models within the 340B program
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements for the 340B program
- Ability to develop strategic plans for continued growth
- Ability to plan and manage a budget
- Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics to measure success
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in project management and execution

Directs business growth by
- developing and maintaining multiple internal and external business relationships
- understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits
- supporting engagement and dialogue with stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and realize value propositions and subsequent business objectives.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by
- diagnosing capability gaps
- recruiting, selecting, and developing talent
- supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning
- leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
Develops and drives the overall sales strategy to ensure highest valuation by
- directing sales and the management of key accounts
- negotiating and purchasing any sub primal need that is not met with internal supply chain
- managing outside purchases needed to meet specifications and procurement guidelines
- ensuring partners deliver on agreed contractual terms
- overseeing the exception approval process.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by
- integrating these values into all programs and practices
- developing consequences for violations or non-compliance
- supporting the Open Door Policy.
Drives development and implementation of business development initiatives by
- developing business plans, supporting programs, and services
- directing the business development effort from sourcing to contracting
- evaluating customer demand for and viability of current and future initiatives with partners
- evaluating impact and risks of programs
- developing risk mitigation plans
- overseeing program implementation efforts in concert with the project management team
- guiding the program development, marketing programs, and services usage programs.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by
- sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives
- engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives
- supporting associate efforts in these areas.
Directs and oversees business unit budgets and financials by
- reviewing and analyzing monthly profit and loss accounts and payments received
- evaluating budget trade-offs to maximize return on investment and balance cost versus quality
- approving project budgets that support optimal business performance
- modifying budgets to meet changing business priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
