About our opportunity
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Customer Response team at Caboolture!
This role sits within our Business Improvement and Systems team within the Customer Response Department. The Business Improvement and Systems Team support Local Laws, Public Health and Permits and Customer Service in providing front line service delivery and aims to provide a high standard of positive and proactive service experiences.
As our Business Support Officer, you will provide valuable administrative assistance and support, contributing to the effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations.
You will focus your time on assisting the team to:
- Provide general administrative assistance to the department ensuring appropriate communication and escalation of matters or emerging issues requiring attention.
- Triage and allocate customer requests and support the provision of departmental responses to customers and Councillors.
- Assist in the review of departmental processes and resources to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
- Undertake a range of financial and procurement activities to support the needs of the department, including the provision of departmental uniforms.
About you
We are looking an enthusiastic Business Support Officer, who thrives in a fast-paced working environment.
Your excellent administrative and strong communication skills along with an ability to develop relationships that contribute to a positive work environment will be essential for this role.
You will be proficient in preparing quality correspondence and documentation, with the ability to handle sensitive information and operate Council’s corporate systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs.
