As a Graduate intern GHG emissions in the Sustainability and Innovation Team at Transavia, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainability initiatives and delivering concrete impact through data analysis. You will delve into our database to identify our area of improvement and formulate both short- and long-term opportunities. Additionally, you will contribute to multiple projects and business cases aimed at reducing emissions.
The internship is versatile: you will need to consult extensively with stakeholders from various departments, brainstorm with external parties, and of course, communicate within your own team. This internship offers you the chance to specialize and gain knowledge in sustainability and innovation.
As an Graduate intern GHG emissions your responsibilities will span a diverse range of tasks and objectives:
- Data analytics: With the help of our data analytics team, you will analyse our historical and current dataset to identify opportunities for reducing emissions and improving operational efficiency (e.g fuel, weight);
- Scope definition: Based on this analysis, you will create detailed plans for sustainability projects and business case;
- Implementation and collaboration: Work closely with various team within Transavia (e.,g the operation) to align sustainability efforts with departmental objectives and successfully implement it within given timelines and budgets;
- Project monitoring: Monitor sustainability project performance and business case implementation. Report identified improvement area to key stakeholders to ensure project success.
About our team
The Sustainability & Innovation department currently consists out of 4 employees: a Circularity Expert, SAF & GHG-emissions Expert, Innovation Expert, the Sustainability & Innovation Lead and two interns. This department supports the organisation in becoming more sustainable, through its own initiatives as well as helping other departments in achieving their sustainability goals.
