OverviewGDC is currently seeking a
Sales Account Manager in the
Northern VA area. The company's base location is in
Chambersburg, PAPosition Overview:The
Sales Account Manager is responsible for building GDC's market footprint by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully driving sales within mid-market to enterprise level organizations.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within mid-market to enterprise level organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
- Act as the primary contact for all client inquiries and opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate and leverage cross-functional internal teams throughout the sales cycle to ensure the proposed solutions meet the client's needs and requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
- Manage and track the sales pipeline and forecast future business opportunities accurately.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress towards targets.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's solutions and service.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to manage sales activities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications- 3+ years of Sales or Recruiting experience.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of IT solutions and services, including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and software development or the capacity to absorb information quickly.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with key clients, organizational leadership, and candidates.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- IT sales experience.
