What you'll do...
Senior Analyst, Business Development
We are looking for a sales hunter that focuses on the process of finding new business prospects and new markets. Their job duties include identifying new potential markets for selling products, developing new profit and revenue streams, and developing lists of potential prospects.
Sustains and grows business by developing and maintaining internal and external business relationships; understanding mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits; and supporting engagement and dialogue with stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and realize value propositions and subsequent business objectives.
Manages the overall sales strategy to ensure highest valuation by managing sales and accounts; negotiating and purchasing needs that is not met with internal supply chain; managing outside purchases needed to meet specifications and procurement guidelines; ensuring partners deliver on agreed contractual terms; and overseeing the exception approval process.
Optimizes profit and loss by developing and communicating plans; analyzing costs; making decisions based on financial and business information; setting and communicating goals; ensuring alignment among stakeholders; monitoring financial information; collaborating with management to reduce expenses; and reconciling expenditures against the operating plan.
Supports overall financial business operations and new business perspectives by organizing and tracking accounts receivable financials and schedules; calibrating business needs; identifying cost-cutting options; and providing leadership in the operational planning, decision making, implementation, and execution of business goals.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
