Join us as The Business Development Manager (BDM) role supporting the Walmart/Sam's assigned categories. You will be responsible for managing items and relationships and supporting profitable sales growth for Rockline. The BDM prepares and delivers customer presentations and is the primary customer point of contact in assigned categories.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Collaboratively coordinate and perform company activities against assigned customer categories and items, to contribute to corporate revenue & profit goals.
• Follow established Line Review & Business Review formats to complete analysis and present internally to Sr. BDD and externally to the customer.
• Prepare and present Proformas and present agreed-upon selling price to customer, implementing defined pricing strategies.
• Utilize by-item sales and supply chain reports to proactively identify opportunities and implement agreed-upon solutions.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to maintain monthly sales forecasts for assigned items (minimum of 1X/month, then as needed).
• Ensure successful item-level launches, deletions, and transitions on assigned items.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• For external candidates - Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Specialist on the Walmart/Sam's ClubSupport Team or demonstrably comparable customer experience with additional.
• For internal candidates - Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing management, sourcing, CMS, or business development in consumer products and/or retail organizations preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prepare and present information, internally and externally, and respond to related questions.
• Possess the ability to identify and critically analyze information, recognizing opportunity and recommending action.
• Ability to be flexible and work in an environment where process isn't always clearly defined.
• Ability to organize and multitask throughout the day.
• Must be able to prioritize work with appropriate sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
