Job Overview: The US and UK/EU Business Development Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across both the US and UK/EU regions. This dynamic position requires a proactive, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of market dynamics in both regions. The role involves securing strategic partnerships, collaborating with key customers such as Sprouts, MOM's, Wegmans, HEB, Whole Foods UK, Holland & Barrett UK, and Holland & Barrett Netherlands, and identifying new opportunities for business development.
Location: remote (NYC or California preferred)
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + benefits
Responsibilities: - Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion in the US, UK, and EU.
- Collaborate with existing partners and explore new partnerships to drive growth.
- Retailer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, including Sprouts, MOM's, Wegmans, HEB, Whole Foods UK, Holland & Barrett UK, and Holland & Barrett Netherlands
- Represent the company in negotiations and discussions with retail partners.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive product awareness and sales in both regions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns tailored to each market.
- New Distribution Channels:
- Identify and explore new distribution channels to increase product visibility in the US, UK, and EU.
- Evaluate potential collaborations with retailers such as Wholefoods US, Gelsons, INFRA, NCG, Waitrose, Albert Heijn-Netherlands, and others.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Trade Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective trade marketing strategies.
- Execute initiatives aimed at increasing customer awareness and driving customer acquisition.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.
Requirements: - Proven expertise in business development, sales, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of US, UK, and EU market intricacies.
- Established relationships with key retailers in the 2024 business plan, including Sprouts, MOM's, Wegmans, HEB, Whole Foods UK, Holland & Barrett UK, and Holland & Barrett Netherlands.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to surpassing targets.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and analytics abilities.
- Experience in initiating and leading client meetings, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
- Ability to contribute insights and recommendations to enhance business development processes.
