Job DescriptionOur agency is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage key agency clients, predominantly in the B2B sector - Medical Device, Biotech, Lifesciences. You will be responsible for working on multiple complex projects across assigned client accounts, working closely with Creative Services and other departments to facilitate and enable timely, effective delivery of client and project milestones. This role is expected to instill confidence and build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships by providing clear and thoughtful direction that is critical to ensuring flawless execution. You will be responsible for the financial health of assigned accounts, including project estimating, profitability and monthly billing.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Creative Services, other departments and partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
- Develop creative briefs, timelines and provide writers and artists with the requisite information needed to deliver creative that is on strategy.
- Track budgets and timelines and provide ongoing updates to the client.
- Monitor client health and alert management to any potential risks.
- Manage client submissions for MLR, PRC reviews and update accordingly.
- Work closely with partner companies to manage associated deliverables.
- Proactively identify issues around deliverables and provide valuable solutions to client.
- Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly presentations and weekly status.
- Ensure all client meetings are scheduled, productive, and well documented.
- Develop, track and maintain presentations, budgets and reports for clients and management.
Experience and SkillsRequired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years in a client service role; managing a minimum of $3M
- Experience working with Medical Device/Biotech/Lifesciences clients
- Extremely high attention to details and previous experience with medical / regulatory / legal reviews and client submissions, preferably in medical regulation
- Ability to identify new client opportunities to support organic growth
- Proven experience implementing and monitoring multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, SMS, video, web, AI etc.)
- Experience monitoring the fiscal health of accounts to drive profitability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience creating and presenting strategy and solutions to clients, and facilitating group meetings
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different personality types
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Adaptive, proactive and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, challenging & demanding environment
- Solid analytical skills and ability to monitor, understand and communicate metrics and performance trends
- Previous experience in a services business providing strategic and marketing services to large clients
- A deep understanding of branding and how that parlays into marketing communications
- Experience utilizing digital marketing platforms, working knowledge of media planning/placement
