Your role at Vertice:
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for helping Vertice’s customers optimize their cloud costs and improve their overall cloud computing experience. The TAM trains clients in the Vertice application’s proper use to enhance the customer experience and improve satisfaction. The TAM will work closely with customers to understand their needs and goals, ensuring the customer confidently implements Vertice’s recommendations promptly and efficiently. The TAM also provides ongoing support and guidance to customers, answering questions and helping them to continuously improve their cloud cost efficiency in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their cloud computing environment and usage patterns.
- Inform and train clients in the product's proper use to enhance the customer experience and improve satisfaction.
- Identify and prioritize cloud cost optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement customized cloud cost optimization solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers on cloud cost optimization best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership & internal teams, such as sales, engineering, and support, to ensure customers receive a holistic and integrated cloud cost optimization solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of cloud computing experience, focusing on cost optimization.
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform is required.
- Strong technical skills, including cloud architecture, networking, and storage.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Associate Architect level certification
- Experience with cloud cost optimization tools and techniques.
- Experience with cloud migration and DevOps.
- Experience with cloud security and compliance.
- Experience with managing customer relationships.
