Position Summary: The Account Executive - DOE (AE-DOE) is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, from new and existing clients or accounts. The AE-DOE identifies marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for all sales and professional service solutions to one or more large, complex Federal Government accounts, both current and prospective. Includes booking, revenue, gross margin, payment, and forecasting accountability.
- Leverages OEM, partner, and other business relationships to increase business revenue and margin through information technology solutions sales.
- Assembles and prepares sales handoff packages in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Making actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements.
- Must have the ability to develop and execute a profitable business plan.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, developing strategic account plans.
- Must work closely with vendor partners to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in a timely resolution of order issues.
- Establish long-term relationships with accounts.
- Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue.
- Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet customer needs.
- Has a strong understanding of Federal acquisition processes.
- May lead and direct the work of others.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:- A 2-year college degree is required, or equivalent education and experience, along with advanced technical or managerial credentials.
- 5 years of progressive experience selling IT solutions to the Department of Defense or security-focused civilian/intelligence agencies.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with an emphasis on understanding requirements.
- Extensive industry contacts.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment with Customer Support Engineers, Inside Sales, and other Teammates and partners.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to grow accounts.

- Ability to balance a large volume of workload with attention to detail.

- DOE Q Clearance is desired.
