DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Devising strategic recommendations for business growth/optimization, by assessing organic & inorganic opportunities through quantitative/qualitative analyses on JPMC data or external data. Advising the leadership in setting up & executing their top strategic priorities & mission critical projects for AWM business. Developing decision frameworks & methodologies to drive key business priorities & change efforts across coverage, product, compensation, client support etc. by modelling business decisions & assessing cost structures, value drivers & potential impact. Monitoring industry & competitor landscape across traditional & emerging channels. Producing review materials for the leadership including competitor deep- dives, industry trends, & strategic recommendations including pricing, performance, strategies, & trends. Developing investment recommendations to help position & transform the business model towards a competitive future by tapping opportunities across product, client, channel etc. Driving development of leadership communication & strategy materials (including Investor Day, Operating Committee off-sites, Town-halls). Conducting market sizing, opportunity tracking, & prospecting using internal client data & external platforms. Advising on & helping execute external professional engagements for business with vendors for industry benchmarking & other strategic or tactical projects. Leveraging internal network in support of analysis & recommendations, liaising with internal stakeholders for information gathering efforts & collaborating across lines of business. Creating project plans, independently driving projects, & managing stakeholder relationships. Directing work of junior team members & engaging in broader team management efforts, including recruiting, staffing, & performance management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Senior Associate, Corporate Strategy Associate, Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following skills: Advanced financial statement analysis; financial modelling; corporate finance; M&A analysis; competitive benchmarking; industry research tools such as Capital IQ or Bloomberg or Pitchbook or FactSet or Prequin or Dealogic or Factiva or Wealthmonitor or BCG or KnightFrank or SCF or Wealth-X; MS Office; project management; and stakeholder management.
Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $195,000.00-$225,000.00 per year.
