The Opportunity
The Nutanix Systems Engineering (SE) Academy is a 12-month program starting in July 2024, for upcoming or recent graduates with a passion for technology and desire to build the foundation for a career in enterprise technical sales.

Joining an international cohort of fellow graduates for a 12-month structured training program you’ll become a subject matter expert (SME) on Nutanix products and gain industry recognised certifications.
Our experienced Systems Engineers will mentor you and help grow your skills, knowledge, and confidence so you can provide our customers with an outstanding experience and solid business outcomes aligned to their goals.
The Team
Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organisation is made up of 800+ customer-focused technical sales professionals across the world, who are responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with our customers’ business needs and objectives, as well as channel partner training and enablement. This team also acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in their field by the Nutanix sales, customer success, business partners, and customers.
The Academy
You will be integrated into our team in Barcelona, Spain from day 1 for in-person training, consisting of:
- Learning Opportunities and career development through structured training programs and accreditation.
- Dedicated mentoring and networking for SE Academy Trainees and access to Senior Leadership across the company.
- Networking with peers working in other regions.
During your 12-month training program you will rotate through segments of:
- Exposure to Nutanix products and technical frameworks, including industry recognised certifications.
- Sales fundamentals & customer relationship building skills.
- Apprenticeship and shadowing opportunities with our world-class Systems Engineers, supporting customers across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
- Milestone Reviews to assess your advancement through the program and identify areas where additional support is needed.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar subject, with a graduation date before August 2024.
- Currently located in Spain with eligibility to work.
- The ability to speak Arabic at a native level and English with professional fluency.
- An enthusiasm for technology and the ability to speak to current and future trends.
- The ability to work with a wide variety of people, collaborating with geographically distributed teams, effectively communicating everything from data points, technical product details, to delivering critical feedback.
- A customer-first mindset, showing a passion for delivering a high-quality customer experience, supplying them what they need to succeed.

The Process
We understand you are pursuing multiple employment options. Please note these important dates to factor into your decision process.
- Application deadline: Friday, March 1, 2024
- Application Screening: We will review your application to understand your unique talents and skills in relation to our opportunities.
- First Round: Interview with one of our Talent Advisors to dive into your unique experiences and motivators.
- Second Round: Technical and behavioural interviews with our hiring teams to showcase your skills
- Students who advance to this round, will receive preparation and details on any pre-assignments to complete prior to the interviews.
- Students attending the second round should expect multiple interviews with Nutanix employees designed to assess your technical skills and role readiness, motivation for the opportunity at Nutanix, and when required, a pre-assignment aligned to the role you’ll be playing on our team. Each meeting will offer you an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the team you’ll potentially work with.
- Final Decision: Offers extended! Finalists can expect offers within 1 week of their final interview.
