What you get to do every day
- Builds market position by identifying, developing and closing Business Development focused Broker Dealer partnership relationships in addition to managing active partners.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements within the market space to amplify Human Interest and drive and develop partnership opportunities.
- Work with the Human Interest cross-functional teams to develop the infrastructure and processes to facilitate these partnerships; including processes for escalations, integration scoping, reporting and rev share tracking.
- Provide clear and organized reporting regarding partner activities and results on a regular cadence.
- Curate stakeholder presentations and recommendations to partners including economic justifications, revenue share reports, and monthly summary reporting in line with agreed expectations.
- Owns strategy for our identified Broker Dealer opportunities; defining growth opportunities and driving these relationships forward with longevity top of mind.
- Tracks and build reporting for Key Strategic Broker Dealer Accts to understand areas of opportunity, immediate needs of the business and forecasted challenges.
- Locates, proposes and pitches potential partnership and business opportunities by contacting, sourcing and prospecting potential partners. This will include RFPs and RFIs.
- Closes new partnerships with providers commensurate with HI; coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations, legal and compliance.
- Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities daily.
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
What you will accomplish
- Build Broker Dealer Business Development partner channel from the ground up while successfully growing and managing existing activated accounts
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the organization's products, services, customers, competitors and establish HI as the preferred partner within the market nationally.
- Be a transformational leader; Drive internal transformation to build Business Development partnership ecosystem to diversify the partner portfolio beyond payroll
- Partner internally with partner marketing director and other cross-functional teams to create and execute meaningful campaigns including related collateral and partner promotions
- Build joint business plans with our partners for initiatives, including end-to-end GTM plans as well as a robust set of KPIs, success metrics and joint accountability
- Partner with our legal team to renew and review partnership agreements and repeatable templates to scale to broader ecosystem partnerships
- Work with our CRO and senior-leadership team to manage executive-level contacts with key Broker Dealer Stakeholders, including executive relationship mapping, QBRs, and C-level stakeholder management
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Drive education and learning for the PAM org on how to work and partner with the Broker Dealer space, helping where relevant in identifying opportunities that are a fit from the field level for Human Interest
- Play vital roles in the revenue growth of Broker Dealer marquee Partnership and additional strategic partnerships.
- Manage day-to-day operations and act as a liaison between Human Interest and the Broker Dealer Account stakeholders within Key Accts.
- Responsible for building, maintaining and managing long-term relationships with current and prospective partners

- 8+ years of experience with innovative strategic partnerships and/or Business Development for consumer-facing, web services and SAAS products
- 5+ years experience in Broker Dealer Account Management with proven and consistent growth
- Demonstrated ability to bring impactful strategic deals to life from conception to execution
- Experience in business development for consumer-facing software products and services
- Proven ability to act as both an influential leader and hands-on practitioner in the planning and execution of our national partner ecosystem
- Advanced CRM experience to manage the partner referral tracking process and forecast partner bookings and opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal
- Willing to flex with constant change and day-to-day competing priorities

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $175,000- $200,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximumin our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
