Boeing is currently looking for an Associate Software Test Automation Engineer to join our Team in India
The position will be located in India, in Bangalore.
Position Responsibilities:
• Create and update test cases for the product / project assigned
• Create Automated Testing Frameworks from inception and mature/maintain the framework.
• Create proof of concepts for new Testing tools and frameworks
• Participating in product design and architectural discussion
• Prepares appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies
• Executes test scripts and test protocols
• Supports and enhances the automated testing framework
• Candidate must have experience in managing a software system throughout the testing lifecycle
• Perform all tasks per program plans and schedules for implementation
• Support change control process for tracking and management of problems and changes to applications during testing'
• Consult with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements
• Interpret and translate requirements into functional test scenarios and scripts
• Analyze and recommend test scenarios and scripts for test automation
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Good understanding of programming concepts is crucial: C#, JavaScript, VBScript, Python, VB.net, .Net
• Hands on experience in UI based applications and client-side programming/testing skill sets with JS, Angular, reactJS
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge & Experience in Software Quality Assurance Process and QA methodologies
• Hands on experience in understanding software requirements and Creation of test designs, test processes, defects, test cases and test data
• Good knowledge on the Automation Tools / Frameworks like: UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, API test automation, Nunit, MSTest
• Ability to write scripts (in any scripting language or OS) and maintain the automation Framework. Preferably keyword / Hybrid Model
• Experience in checking out code from version control – HP ALM, TFS, GIT LAB
• Need to have excellent team orientation skills. Good Communication Skills required
• Highly motivated, a Go-Getter who needs very little supervision
• Excellent Team player, Quick learner and Result oriented
• DevOps, Continuous Integration. Experience in using any CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SonarQube etc.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Understanding the basics of CI/CD and DevOps for test script integration
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Proficient in Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Education Qualification:
• Typically, 5-8 years of related work experience or relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred but not required.
