As a Java Applications Developer, one will work with business owners and vendors in a team environment to solve problems, perform maintenance, and create new Java applications. These applications are critical to citizens utilizing DOLIR's services. This position will be responsible for the maintenance and operations of existing systems, designing and developing new software solutions, and evaluating off-the-shelf software solutions for customers. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated person with great organizational and technical skills who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:
Full Stack Software Development (Database, Application, User Interface).
System Development Life Cycle (Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance, Documentation).
Maintenance and operations on existing applications the team supports.
Database design and application development.
Work in various technology resources such as Azure, AWS, Mulesoft, ServiceNow, etc.
Code review and technical testing.
Create and update relevant documentation, such as user manuals.
All you need for success:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills & the ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management are necessary.
Aptitude and desire to quickly learn new technologies and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people.
Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to changing tasks.
Experience with Java, DB2, HTML, CSS, Web Services, Angular, and Cloud Architecture.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
