Background:
FITs are CAD files which incorporate a 2D layout of a project number specific tool, identifying all of the points of connection. These files are used by our customers to plan and prepare for the facilitation of our wafer processing tools. Using a FIT automation routine in AutoCAD this candidate will use PST, AutoCAD and other supporting programs to create a cad file that will ultimately be printed full scale and shipped to the requestor.
FDPs are CAD files which are a “lighter” version of a highly detailed model, identifying all of the points of connection. These files are used by our customers to plan and prepare for the facilitation of our wafer processing tools.
Responsibilities:
FDP:
- Candidate will be responsible for creating Facilities Installation Templates (FIT) for Semi-Conductor Tools or Equipment’s & remotes.
- Candidate will be responsible for creating Facilities Data Packages (FDP) shells for SSG tool & remote.
- Working with Master Layout Authorities (MLOA), this candidate will identify the Points of Connections (POC) for each shell
- Interaction with various business units for gathering required information to work on FIT and FDP projects
- Need to present weekly status to team
FIT:
- Interact with Business Units for inputs.
- Create 2D Template for different configurations of the tool.
- Perform Quality Check for the Template.
- Plot and ship the Template
Skills
- Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 3-5 years directly related experience
- Preferred previous work experience to include mechanical engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment
- Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as AutoCAD, Oracle BOM, and/or Oracle ECO, TCE and UG/NX
- Experience in Layout (3D & 2D) creation for Module level assembly method’s
- Good presentation skills
- Must be organized and goal oriented
- Manufacturing experience if any
- This position will require excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working with limited information or gather information
- Follow up on work to get Input’s and able to work independently
- Accountability and commitment with right attitude
