Position Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team based in our Austin office, offering a flexible combination of in-office and remote work. As an integral part of our mission, you will help us integrate and onboard our new bank partners & help support and maintain our existing infrastructure!
What does it take?
- A strong customer mindset and passion for user experience, you are energized by solving customer problems and designing solutions with the customer in mind
- Passion about working on backend code serving hundreds of thousands of customers, with billions of dollars under management
- You have solid Java 11+ knowledge (Streams, Lambdas, Optional, etc), experience with Spring and microservice best practices
- Experience working with relational databases, query optimization, and designing schemas
- You enjoy writing testable code and aren’t afraid of diving into other peoples’ code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code review, and debugging distributed Systems
- Great communication skills; ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- You can inspire teams with your ideas, knowledge and self-starting attitude
This role will give you the opportunity to:
