Boeing Ukraine Engineering & Technology Center is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to support Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The successful candidate will design, program, test, implement, document, and maintain computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end-user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs, and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot user problems and issues, complete and test any necessary revisions to code.
- Implement up to mid-size modifications to the system as needed.
- Collaborate with business partners, IT leadership, and stakeholders to migrate legacy ERP systems to the new platform.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2019) and other latest versions.
- Strong knowledge of application development in C#/.NET
- SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design ( stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints )
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Strong knowledge of indices, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)
- Existing rights to work in Ukraine
Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
- Solid knowledge of windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
- Expert experience in implementing operational automation.
- Principles of building Microsoft web-service.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years' related work experience).
