Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Electronic and Electrical Design Analysis Engineer, reporting to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Manager, working out of the São Jose dos Campos - SP office.
The Senior Electronic and Electrical Design Analysis Engineer will join the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software.
Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software. Verification of system designs at the component, system and airplane levels. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead component design, development and qualification
Lead System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification
Lead hardware development including AEH devices
Oversee integration with IMA Platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Lead analysis and decomposition of requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications per DO-160 and DO-254
Develop and oversee execution of verification plan for system designs to meet operational and functional requirements
Oversee supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements and schedule
This position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a degree in Engineering
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
In depth experience in defining and implementing engineering processes and methods
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer, automation, aeronautical Engineering
- In depth experience with Electronic Systems hardware design
- Experience in certifying electronic systems designs for aviation
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Some experience with Model Based Development tools
