We are looking for Test Engineer, As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with engineers in group to create Mfg. Test program to test Storage products. You will be responsible to develop and maintain test code and update it based upon feedback from mfg. test. It could range from fixing bugs – to increase test yield or optimization or implementation of new test screens, application, tool as advised by engineering or QA teams. This position may require you to go to mfg. floor (as needed) on site to observe issues and implement or roll out solution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with SW/HW architects and other engineers in multiple disciplines (including electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing) to develop use cases, test plans and automated tests in a process driven environment.
- Develop and maintain tools for automation used in testing of data center products using Python, C#, React, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Some knowledge of SQL queries
- Thinking out about testing products in HVM (High volume mfg.) environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Fermware, EE, ME, and NPI, System Test teams
- Assist and develop processes for Mfg. Failure analysis processes.
- Good documentation/ communication skills to train fellow engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field e.g. Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 7-10 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field.
- Advanced skills in programming languages such as Python, C#
- Clear on fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience in creating and deploying Application programming interfaces (API).
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience as programming in High Volume mfg. facilities
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated understanding of Software Programming concepts and principles
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
- Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short-term effects, and exercising sound judgment when making changes to Mfg. test Programs.
