Company: Autobrains is a well-funded Israeli AI company developing automated driving products and capabilities, with headquarters at the heart of Tel Aviv. Our technology solves several key gaps on the way to full, safe, and scalable autonomous driving, by shifting from a traditional deep-learning approach to a biologically plausible self-learning AI. Our vision is backed by multiple leading automotive players, including Temasek, Toyota, BMW, Continental, Vinfast, and Knorr-Bremse.
Project: the Big brain team's task is to algorithmically generate ground truth annotations for automotive data with accuracy that surpasses that of human annotators. Our approach is to mix the latest state-of-the-art open-source models leveraging our unparalleled expertise in the automotive domain. The remaining accuracy gaps are bridged using AutoBrains’ proprietary technological stack. Our work requires us to stay on top of the most recent literature/open source and to develop an extraordinary breadth of knowledge in computer vision.
- Use a deep understanding of the state-of-the-art open-source computer vision models to build an extremely high accuracy system for 2D/3D object detection in still images and video, semantic and instance segmentation, high-accuracy object/pixel tracking, visual odometry, and depth estimation.
- Leading algorithms projects with multiple algorithms engineers
- Map out the long tail of remaining accuracy gaps and close them by in-house training models and leveraging AutoBrains’ unparalleled domain expertise and proprietary technology.
- Improve the accuracy of our system further by leveraging data from additional sensors such as radar and lidar.
- Innovative research at this scale does not come from “lone wolves” - you are expected to be a team player: collaborate well with others, clearly communicate your results, and align your work with the team's goals, while maintaining your self-sufficiency.
