We are looking for an Automation Engineer proficient in SDLC involving design, development, deployment, debugging, support, testing, documentation, and maintenance of automated solutions. This position is on a Software Engineering Team within IT.
What you will be doing:
Understand requirements from the Product Managers, validate the architecture, build, and review designs, develop, and deliver high-quality automations.
Develop efficient automations using programming languages, Rest APIs and RPA Tools
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Updating and maintaining Developer Standards around Automation best practices
Mentoring and guiding peers via code reviews, dev sessions and pair-programming
Investigating and documenting better practices/alternative solutions that could be used in future development
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
Demonstrable experience as Automation Engineer or similar role
5+ years of Experience in software development using one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript etc).
Solid understanding of Relational Databases, REST APIs and Web services.
Proficiency in one or more RPA platforms viz. Automation Anywhere, UiPath and MS Power Automate
Passion for intelligent automations and related technologies.
Proven interpersonal skills with an ability to tailor messages and develop presentations for a wide range of audiences.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge about ServiceNow, Workday, SAP is a definite plus
Exposure to Scrum/Agile methodology is a plus
