Your job:
In this position, you will be part of one of the Ads teams. We focus on integrating ads solutions to help our customers dynamic create and improve their advertising. We currently provide solutions for Google Ads and Amazon Ads.
The Ads team is responsible for part of our Python backend that helps our customers create and manage their ad campaigns and ads at scale. As other Product teams, we also work together with our Infrastructure and DevOps teams, which are developing many other services that power Channable under the hood, and all together we build our powerful tool!
Your challenges:
- Design, develop, and test new product features
- Work with external APIs (Google Ads, Amazon)
- Collaborate with other team members on breaking features into smaller tasks
- Review other team members’ PRs
- Work on scalability and performance improvements
- Work together with our Product Manager on requirements and issues
- Monitoring correctness and effectiveness of our systems, and fixing bugs
We use the following technologies and tools:
- Languages: Python, SQL
- Libraries: Flask, SQLAlchemy, requests, logging
- Tools: Postgres, Alembic, mypy, Sentry, Grafana

Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic coder and a critical thinker. At Channable, we help each other to become better as a team. That's something you believe in as well. Besides the skills you currently have, having an eager-to-learn mindset is just as important.
Additionally, you have:
- Strong English communication skills
- Personal or professional experience developing applications in Python
- Experience with web APIs and related technologies
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, preferably Postgres
- Good working knowledge of Linux, git and the command-line
- Available for at least 4 days a week, preferably full-time
