We are currently seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will contribute to the quality assurance and validation of an integrated autonomous and assisted driving system and collaborate with key stakeholders across the larger team.
You will take responsibility for the quality, and reliability of the system and related validation tools and process.
As a member of the Lucid Motors Autonomous driving team, you will work closely with engineers from various AD (Autonomous Driving) teams (e.g., Camera, Perception, Embedded) to understand the interactions of the system as a whole and develop efficient processes and tools for automatic and manual QA and validation of the system.
You will create and execute test plans and test suites to test AD/ADAS systems, with the ability to thrive under pressure, ambiguity, and time constraints while communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- These are the minimum requirements so every candidate should possess 100% of these core skills.
- 4+ years’ experience in Software Quality and Validation of complex systems.
- 4+ years’ experience with Linux.
- 4+ years’ experience with Python.
- Experience with validation of software related to cameras or other sensors in automotive or mobile phone platforms.
- Prior experience with ADAS or Automotive.
- Experience with Networking skills such as vlan.
- Experience with Embedded Systems AND ECU testing.
- Must possess Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating automated testing environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using SIL (Software in Loop) or HIL (Hardware in Loop) setups for system validation.
- Experience with automotive protocols such as CAN (Controller Area Network), LIN and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Service) and related tools.
- He must know about CPU performance, KPI and Bench marking for Embedded systems.
- Experience with tools for revision control (git or similar) and build tools.
- Hands-on skills to design and build test/validation benches.
- Experience with Unit Test frameworks for software validation.
- Experience using CI/CD such as Jenkins.
- Experience using Jira or similar (confluence, Trello, Hive, gitlab, asana) software for issue and task tracking.
- Wireshark, Iperfs and CANoe or equivalent tools.
Education Qualifications:
- BS minimum in the areas of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields
- Higher degrees preferred
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·California (Bay Area) - $127,000 - $181,500
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
