Responsibilities
Developing code for software projects, designing and implementing bug fixes, and designing general software projects
Performing software tests on code and enhancements
Developing software documentation
Developing and enhancing software tools used for communicating to external components via Ethernet-based protocols
Analyzing and troubleshooting various Ethernet protocol interfaces
Interfacing with internal customers for requirements analysis
Performing basic engineering analysis under general supervision
Troubleshooting a variety of moderately complex software and communication protocol problems
Qualifications
Graduating with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++/C# for either application or embedded development
Scripting knowledge with Python or similar is a plus
A basic understanding of common communication protocols
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building trust
Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus
Able to solve problems creatively and analytically
Flexible and adaptable mindset

U.S. Salary Range:
$124,000.00 - $170,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
