Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH (ICT GmbH), with ~160 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location near Munich, Germany is constantly growing.
With an aim to strengthen our quality engineering team within the operations division in our facility near Munich, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer (m/f/d) who would be a primary contact for our high-tech products and responsible for developingand applying quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring and further developing the quality standards of our high-end products
- Execution and implementation of new methods and parameters for quality monitoring
- Analysis and collection of production data and product deviations including statistical process qualification (SPC)
- Management and control of the most important technical problems, definition of priorities for root cause investigation, pursuit of long-term solutions
- Interdisciplinary cooperation in quality-related issues with our customer, supplier management, production, logistics and R&D
- Development and presentation of quality reports for internal and external customers
- Continuous improvement of cost and quality goals
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, optical, industrial), or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain management in a complex technical environment.
- Green or Black Belt / Lean Six Sigma experience including tooling (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D)
- Experience in managing supplier on quality performance, preferably in complex high-tech industry
- Experience in quality improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing environment
- Experience in complex work environment with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in building and maintaining strategic relations with suppliers
- Deep understanding and experience with Quality Management Systems and Tools
- Willingness to travel (at least 10%) and explore Applied Materials
