Applied Materials’ Architectural Element (AE) Knowledge Capture and Function Analysis (FA) team is a centralized group focusing on the fundamental on-device material (organic and inorganic) analysis and key component development for the next generation Semi-conduct equipment. The AE Knowledge and FA team is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024!
Responsibilities
Implement lab test include DOE design, data acquisition automation, tool inspection, data collection, sample/data analysis, data report preparation and hardware replacement
Assist with lab customized test stand operation include tool preparation, wafer processing, wafer measuring, documentation
Support senior process engineer for data collection, data processing using statistics, report documentation and presenting
Work directly with experienced engineer for internal database content collecting and releasing, different Smart application development
Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Student must be in good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Mechanical engineering experience especially related to motion control and mechanical design preferred
Knowledge of material selection, material analysis, design of experiment and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
Quick learner, self-motivated, hands-on practice, teamwork
Compensation
$32 - $37 per hour
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
