About the Team

Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer working in the Bose Software Organization, you will be part of the team developing tools that enable Bose tuning engineers to deliver incredible, immersive in-cabin audio experiences. The work focuses on advancing our real-time audio prototyping platform architecture used for tuning automotive systems. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintenance of a Linux-based (Ubuntu) PC used for rapid prototyping and production tuning
- Aligning with advanced development teams to ensure tuning infrastructure can deploy our next generation of algorithms
- Collaborating with tuning engineers to understand their needs and make improvements on performance/efficiency
About You
- BS or MS in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Linux system administration and deployment
- Familiarity with multi-threaded, real time audio processing
- Experience with Python, C/C++
- Familiarity with networking (sockets, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and software/hardware debugging ability.
- Systems level integration and testing
- Embedded software development
- Familiarity with audio interfaces such as ADAT, A2B, MADI, Audio over Ethernet
- Automotive industry experience
- MATLAB / Simulink
- FPGA development
