THE PROGRAM
We're looking for students to join our Internship Program who are obsessively curious about 'what's next'. You'll get hands on experience with our products and learn from the best of the best in the business. You will complete a specific project in 10-12 weeks with us, while integrating into your team. By the time you end your time with us, you will have been given the opportunity to truly make a real impact in the future of Bose and your career!
Opportunities don't stop at your day-to-day work. While you're getting a targeted look at your area of expertise, we'll expose you to other areas of the company. Our interns are given the opportunity to connect with senior leadership across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll network with other interns and colleagues to grow your network for the future!
Timeframe - June-August 2024
THE ROLE
Working as a team member of Bose Software Organization (BSO), come astonish our cutting-edge audio systems with your outstanding ability to develop algorithms and software for a superlative audio experience in a car. Bose intern/co-op program aims to provide students with opportunities to solve real-world problems with hands-on software skills. In addition to enhancing software development skills, you will also collaborate with research, acoustic tuning teams to see the product life cycle. Our team strives to make every intern/co-op experience rewarding, practical, and seamless to successfully launch your career after graduation.
Education
* BS student minimum, graduate student preferred
Skills
* Coursework in digital signal processing (DSP), communication, algorithms, or computer architecture
* Experience in MATLAB and Simulink
* Experience in algorithm implementation in software
* Basic understanding of C programming language and embedded software development (ARM or DSP processors)
Responsibilities
* Verify, benchmarking, improve production-grade audio features
* Deploy, operate work product in the embedded development environment
* Automate workflow using Continuous Integration (CI) and DevOps tools
