We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer - Embedded Imaging & Vision Systems to join our team. Driving the design, development, and implementation of imaging and vision systems for embedded applications. With multiple opportunities to collaborate with multi-functional teams to build ground breaking solutions that leverage image processing algorithms, machine learning techniques, and hardware integration. Will play an impactful role in crafting our product offerings and driving the advancement of our technology.
What you will be doing:
Own the end-to-end design and development of embedded imaging and vision systems for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial applications, collaborating with multi-functional teams to define requirements and specifications.
Architect and implement pioneering image processing algorithms, computer vision techniques, and machine learning models tailored for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial use cases.
Design and optimize imaging pipelines, including camera interfaces, sensor integration, and hardware acceleration, considering real-time constraints, safety requirements, and industrial environmental conditions.
Stay at the forefront of emerging imaging technologies, computer vision algorithms, and machine learning advancements, applying them to improve our solutions and maintain a driven edge.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, driving a culture of excellence, partnership, and continuous learning in ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial domains.
Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring alignment to coding standards, and software quality requirements for safety-critical systems.
Conduct performance analysis, testing, and debugging of imaging and vision systems, addressing technical issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with product management and multi-functional teams to define and complete the strategic roadmap for imaging and vision solutions in ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial domains.
Engage with customers and partners, understanding their requirements, providing technical expertise, and supporting pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and customer deployments.
Contribute to the creation of intellectual property through patent filings, research papers, and technical publications, advancing the field of embedded imaging and vision for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial applications.
What we need to see:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of extensive experience in crafting and developing embedded imaging and vision systems for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial applications.
Strong expertise in image processing algorithms, computer vision techniques, and machine learning models relevant to ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial use cases.
In-depth knowledge of imaging sensors, camera interfaces, hardware integration, and system-level optimization for real-time, safety-critical systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 26262 for automotive safety, MISRA, AUTSAR & ASIL levels
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and expertise in embedded software development for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial environments.
Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded software development tools, and version control systems.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineers, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and engage optimally with customers and collaborators.
Proven track record of technical leadership, innovation, and thought leadership in the field of embedded imaging and vision for ADAS, Robotics, and Industrial applications.

The base salary range is 216,000 USD - 414,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
