We are looking for a Staff Systems Engineer, SRE to join our team. You should have experience deploying packaged or custom applications, debugging incidents, and working with teams across a company to improve the reliability and performance of systems and services.
What you'll be doing:
Partner with Operations Business Unit and SRE leadership to understand overarching business objectives and help SRE team leads translate those into important plans.
Help the SRE teams define technology and business strategies that deliver iterative enhancements to the tools and processes that improve availability, observability, and scalability.
Recognize, validate, and publish emerging technologies and architectures that align with business objectives.
Lead and build the proven foundation for Application lifecycle on installation, monitoring, observability, and user experience.
Provide and institute validated practices around reliability, remediations, troubleshooting, and observability.
Build, deploy, and provide production support for any services you work on.
Documenting “tribal” knowledge.
What we need to see:
Bachelors and/or Masters in computer science or related field of study (or equivalent experience).
4+ years' experience operating distributed applications 24x7x365.
3+ proven experience deploying and supporting applications in the On-premises or Cloud environment.
Experience with Cloud Service Providers like AWS and Azure.
Extensive experience with MS Windows Server &/or Linux OS.
Solid communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.
Strong understanding of the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
Strong scripting experience is required with PowerShell or Python or Bash.
Experience with IaC methodology and relevant tools.
Basic understanding of networking components like Firewalls, and load balancers.

The base salary range is 104,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
