We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer Manager for Data Center products, this is a role with more focus on engineering aspects, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of NPI (New Product Introduction) quality engineers focusing on deep level system and board failure analysis of customer quality complaints, tracking quality metrics. You will work closely with the engineering team and production team to ensure the quality alignment and integration of the product. Your strong technical background, quality mindset and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be leading NVIDIA Data Center products quality improvement initiatives and programs.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage and supervise NPI PQE team focusing on system and board level failure analysis of customer quality complaints, provide guidance, feedback, and coaching.
Coordinate with internal and external engineering team to root cause customer quality issues, ensure corrective and preventative actions are identified, implemented and effectiveness verified to address the failures.
Define and implement quality standards, metrics, processes, and tools for NVIDIA Data Center products.
Work with Customer Quality Management (CQM) team to generate 8D reports and/or presentations for executive management and external customer review and discussion.
Monitor and report Quality Metrics.
Collaborate with engineering team to develop new failure analysis tools/methodology.
Quality representative to internal teams, supporting activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
5+ overall years of engineering experience on data center or server system related products.
3+ years of experience in people management.
Strong technical background in two or more fields below, data center infrastructure, power electronics, memory device, semiconductor device design/fabrication/testing, SMT process, automated testing, and data analysis.
Expert knowledge of failure analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Strong quality mindset; effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
