About the Role
Capella is looking for a Senior SAR Engineer to join the processing team.
At Capella you’ll work with people with a wide range of expertise from engineers developing and maintaining the image processing pipeline, engineers designing and building satellites, engineers managing the automated operations, to team members from sales and customer success teams working with our customers daily. Your work won’t be limited to a single department, you will be able to advise on the optimal tasking and operations of the satellite to acquire the highest quality data for different applications or even the satellite and overall constellation design.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of image + signal processing experience
- Proficient in C/C++, Python, and Git
- Excellent and proactive communication
Preferred
- PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience related to SAR signal processing.
- SAR imagery analyst expertise
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA & Confluence
- Experience with GIS Systems and/or geospatial data products and standards
Compensation
$124,000 - $186,000
Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills.
