We are actively seeking an Sr. Embedded Software Developer to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Eugene, OR. Come and grow with us!
In this role, you will be a member of a team dedicated to developing leading edge sensor systems and hardware for material measurement and analysis in industrial manufacturing environments.
How you Will Make a Positive Impact:
Take ownership to define and implement embedded software for multiple FPGAs/SoCs in multiple material sensing platforms.
Evaluate, specify and implement the embedded system software, tool chain and device drivers for the FPGAs
Design, document, code, review, test, debug and qualify the embedded system software and device drivers for the FPGAs
The Value You Bring:
BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years hands-on development of Xilinx FPGA based software and device drivers
Experience using Xilinx SDK, Vitis, VHDL and Vivado tools required
Expert in C or C++, and a scripting language such as Python
Experience with Xilinx Zynq 7000 SoC processors or similar required
Expert in ARM V8 architecture and technology
Familiar with scopes and logic analyzers
Experience with firmware development for real time applications
Proven ability to collaborate successfully within a multi-disciplinary team
Experience with device drivers such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR4 memory controller, 10GbE, System-monitor, UART and I2C
Hands-on experience with JTAG debuggers for complicated problems or performance issues
Working experience with multi-threaded processing, multi-processor communication & synchronization and task scheduling
Experience with circuit board design using PADs or similar tools
Experience with Optical Sensor design
You have a valid passport or are eligible to obtain one, which indicates your willingness and ability to travel if required for the job
