The Role:
In QA Automation Engineer in the Finance Solutions Technology team you will join a team of brilliant, friendly and energetic solutions architects, developers, QA engineers who strive to deliver best in class custom solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent testing, organizational and communication skills. Are you someone that can thrive in a high energy, high growth, fast paced environment? Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze testing needs, create / maintain frameworks and test suites to meet testing demands in a high paced environment.
- Develop and execute modular / E2E automated test suite & solutions using new / existing automation tools / frameworks.
- Create and maintain automation test suites for both UI and Rest API testing
- Create Data Validation scripts for backend testing
- Analyze opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement and propose creative solutions.
- Interact with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.
- Coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.
- Provide detailed, statistic-based status reports.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or development.
- Minimum 5 years of web application testing through a full system development life cycle.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with automation testing (Data driven, Keyword driven, POM based frameworks) is required. Experience building Custom In-house frameworks preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of development experience with BDD Test Frameworks using Cucumber
- Minimum 5 years of development experience Selenium, Java, Junit is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience with REST Assured , Postman or other frameworks for API Testing.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with all the following: GIT, Maven, Jenkins and any of Eclipse/IntelliJ/Visual Studio.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with RDBMS preferably Oracle, SQL and other data retrieval methods.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows.
- Experience analyzing project requirements and ability to create test strategy, test plan and test cases.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and clearly document issues.
- Must have the ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
