The Role:
We’re looking for a strong mid-level QA Engineer to join our growing organization. We’re looking for someone who has experience testing all facets of SaaS products who can help ensure our platform is of the upmost quality. You will be collaborating with other developers, testers, operations and product teams daily. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to add quality to our organization. This person will take an automation first approach to our testing, but also do a fair amount of manual testing under the right circumstances. Our tech stack is comprised of Typescript, NodeJS, Remix, Express, PostgreSQL, Google Big Query, Playwright, K6, and Github/Github Actions all running on Google Cloud Platform.
This is a hybrid position and will need to be in Jacksonville, FL office 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure product quality in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Design and execute manual and automated tests and analyze results.
- Create and maintain test cases and test plans in Test Rail.
- Use Playwright to write and execute automated tests (API and UI)
- Use K6 to write and execute load and performance tests.
- Execute manual tests for new features and bugs as needed.
- Monitor system and software functionality.
- Internal Use Only
- Collaborate with other QA and developers to develop test plans for ensuring application functionality and finding bugs.
- Document processes, best practices and knowledge base.
- Document bugs within JIRA.
- Help troubleshoot production issues with the operations and support teams.
- Cross-collaborate with other teams to ensure end to end application quality.
- Work with globally distributed teams
- Provide daily status reports.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently or a team player.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to support multiple products simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and document bugs.

This is a hybrid position and will need to be in Jacksonville, FL office 3 days a week.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Must have at least 3 year’s experience with at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Typescript, Python, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance testing or development.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with end-to-end automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent.
- Must have experience testing web applications
- Must have a working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with load testing tools such as Jmeter, K6, or equivalent.
- Must have experience with Git or some other version control system.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence or equivalent.
- Experience working in an agile development methodology.
- Experience or willing to learn working with devops tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.
- Ability to analyze product requirements and create test plans and test cases.
