The Role:
Will lead and grow the US DevOps team across all US Time zones, and coordinate, when necessary with our global DevOps teams.
As well as developing the future looking strategy about infrastructure support and design in high collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and engineering to orchestrate development and create roadmaps and milestones to be shared with the business.
- Operate, monitor, and optimize the full engineering stack for a sophisticated MarTech SaaS & DaaS business.
- Lead a team in architecting new infrastructure and processes in GCP across data and platform teams
- Enforce the maintenance and documentation processes that guarantee security, operability, and uptime.
- Maintain and improve existing platform and data processing environments using a combination of AWS/GCP services and open source technology.
- Support efficient operations, best practices, and continuous improvement utilizing overarching security systems, system level monitoring, and project management utilities.
- Insure, whenever possible and relevant, that there is clean and precise separation between architecture and software, R&D and production, and development and deployment.
- Proven ability to conceptualize, initiate, and drive projects to a successful outcome with minimal guidance.
- Experience working within a remote team environment.
- Comfortable working with Global teams and time zones.

Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a System Architect, Full Stack Developer, or DevOps/SRE.
- 5+ years of management/lead experience in a DevOps focused role.
- Experience with heavy product/tech collaboration in strategizing infrastructure design and leading implementation
- The ability to design and delegate critical tasks and providing context and from both a strategic and tactical perspective
- Develop long term devops/infrastructure strategy in conjunction with our global devops teams and key stakeholders
- Experience with Linux & Cloud Native technologies.
- Experience building and scaling modern web apps for data processes (Django, Celery, React, nginx/kong).
- Experience designing and operating containerized infrastructure and CI/CD systems (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Harness).
- Experienced with application and system level monitoring and incident management tools (APM, DataDog, Splunk, PagerDuty, Laceworks).
- Enjoy implementing, testing, and maintaining strict and up-to-date security measures for web software.
- Experience with version control (git/GitHub) and Agile Project Management tools (ClickUp/Confluence).
- Proficiency with SQL Databases (MySQL, Redshift/Postgres).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling for provisioning and configuration management (Terraform, ansible).
