What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is looking for an IT applications and infrastructure manager, who will have an overarching view of “all things applications and supporting infrastructure” within the organization.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of key ChargePoint application systems. Your primary focus will be on providing day-to-day support for these systems, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements, and collaborating with third-party consultants on system integration projects. Additionally, you will work alongside business owners to develop and maintain test cases, and actively participate in testing new and updated systems. You manage functional business processes and technical workload within different organizations working with our executive and cross-functional stakeholders. You will be an important link between technology and business operations.
The role requires a deep understanding of the technology infrastructure, technology trends, emerging technologies, security and the overarching end-to-end business applications value chain.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Provide expert-level support for the application systems, effectively troubleshooting and resolving issues across all business areas. Ensure that project solutions, system acquisitions and modifications meet the goals and objectives of the requesting department
- Drive critical discussions with diverse business stakeholders, effectively handling varying viewpoints
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing stakeholders to act on product and technology matters with an understanding of business communication styles and techniques
- Play a key role in system implementations, contributing your expertise and knowledge to ensure successful project outcomes
- Influence business stakeholder decision-making in functional areas. Align strategies, initiatives, and projects with business objectives
- Identify key drivers of sustainable advantages in specific situations and analyze emerging trends to meet business requirements. Evaluate the impact of strategic decisions on the value chain and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Develop, prioritize, and coordinate work plans, ensuring adherence to project milestones. Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them. Maintain accountability for project timelines and ensure effective communication of project status updates
- Understand competitive technology landscapes and product technology stacks. Drive the business and user acceptance testing for complex solutions by considering impacts on various cross-functional teams
- Analyze business objectives and customer needs to develop business strategies. Implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
- Embrace other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the IT department
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing IT applications and infrastructure
- 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
- Experience with different business applications like HRIS, SalesOps, marketing and legal apps etc.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with creating ad hoc reports to analyze and present data insights
- Experience managing teams and personnel. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $102,500 to $200,750. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
