The Salesforce Product Marketing team is looking for curious self-starters to join our high-impact product marketing organization as Sr. Manager/Directors of Competitive Product Marketing! This role will be aligned with one of our market-leading products to help inform our marketing strategy and success of the product. As a Competitive Product Marketer, you will research, develop insights, evolve product messaging and positioning, build go-to-market programs, and create sales enablement. Your ability to distill market research into key insights will help shape marketing priorities and programs. This is an opportunity that allows you to exercise your strategic vision, storytelling skills, and technical expertise. Your success is defined by our ability to quickly deliver relevant insights and programs that result in sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.
We are looking for someone with strong written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills, the ability to manage deliverables across cross-functional teams. You will have demonstrable expertise in all areas of product marketing — product positioning & messaging, strategy and segmentation, customer & competitive intelligence, building scalable programs, etc. Strong presentation skills, executive presence, and ability to deal with ambiguity are critical. You are comfortable toggling between detailed research & insights, to big picture innovation like building and delivering demos, presentations, and executing marketing programs. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with product teams, marketing teams, sales teams, and more.

Responsibilities & Impact
Think strategically to provide guidance to peer marketers and marketing leadership.
Identify gaps, recommend and create marketing programs, set a plan and drive the execution.
Lead the creation of succinct and effective sales training materials (training, FAQs, etc.), making it easy for non-technical sales to understand our competitive differentiation.
Partner with Product Management to understand product strategy and roadmaps and develop competitive marketing strategies
Stay tuned to market signals (competitive messaging, trends, etc) for competitors within the marketing landscape to identify opportunities to surge marketing efforts.
Roadmap our product strategy to life in launches, new releases, content, campaigns, events, and sales enablement
Partner closely with campaigns, solution engineering, and other product marketers and drive cross-functional alignment on programs to drive pipeline.
Keep current with technology trends and incorporate emerging technologies to inform marketing programs and assets.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, product management, solution engineering, sales enablement, account executive / solutions engineer at a high tech company, or similar equivalent.
Have proven knowledge or experience in one of the following:
sales automation
customer service software
ecommerce technology
marketing automation
app development, infrastructure, data security
artificial intelligence
data-as-a-service
business intelligence tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customers.
Consistent track record in defining/driving project execution and thriving in dynamic environment.
Phenomenal leader with expertise leading and inspiring through influence.
Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content.
High sense of urgency to respond to critical business questions.
Curious, analytical, innovative, and wildly creative — with the execution skills to make it happen.
Candidates must be based in one of the listed hub locations and be available to come into the office 3 days a week.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $146,600 to $241,100.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
