Job Summary
As a member of the India Field Organization for the Systems Design and Analysis Group covering package, board, and whole system you will be responsible to partner with our System and semiconductor customers to help them build unique and innovative solutions to implement cutting-edge designs. This involves working closely with the customers to adopt Cadence leading edge technologies, develop efficient methodologies, helping them leverage the latest tool capabilities, and guiding them to achieve their design goals.
In this role, you will work across multiple teams within Cadence – RnD, PE, Post-sale support team etc. to drive tool capabilities with customers which will help solve customer pain points and improve designs and productivity. This will increase your visibility beyond your immediate team acquire both breadth and depth of technical knowledge, get wide exposure to the latest designs that customers are working on, with visible and measurable impact, both internally and externally.
This role also provides a front-row opportunity to participate in the evolution of key technology solutions to the most pressing design problems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with product teams to influence product direction with your timely feedback and observations of customer needs. In addition to wielding technical influence, your unique understanding of the customer and their key care abouts and actions will have direct benefit to Cadence business goals. You will collaborate closely with the India field team to help drive technical campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Board design technical engagement in System design (Board, package, Heterogenous integrated 3D-IC), Generate all required technical datapoints to draw conclusions and drive strategy for next steps.
- Produce out-of-the-box technical solutions to customer requirements or challenges using either tool capabilities or scripting techniques, new methodologies, Lead methodology and solution-oriented discussions with key stake holders
- Deep technical consultation, technology education to customer influencing them on Cadence technologies. Educate, technical influence, Evangelize and drive adoption of new technology across customers.
- Partner with internal teams to guide product positioning and technical campaigns to customers.
- Ownership and execution of Technology events to show-case technology leadership. Partners with customers to endorse Cadence solution in industry forums, Builds deep relationships with key customers and organizes brown bags
- Narrow down complex problems to pointed tool issues for R&D resolution, Partner with BU to drive product quality thru code bash
- Build relation with worldwide teams to collaborate on needs. Mentor junior team members
- Creating customer engagement plan, negotiates success criteria, Tracking and documentation of campaigns/ methodologies/ white papers/ Technical collateral / technical Articles
- Tracking competitive landscape, customer landscape gathering and mapping.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics
Experience and Technical Skills required
- 10-12 years of experience in Electronics field. 5+ years of experience in System level Signal Integrity and power integrity, EM field solver technologies. Thermal is added advantage
- Should have excellent working knowledge and terminologies of Serial and parallel high-speed interfaces. Well-versed in the design challenges of SI and PI for high-speed interconnects. Understanding of serial interface Equalization, channel simulation, and measurement.
- Should have capabilities to analyze the 2D/3D Signal waveforms, Eye Diagram, Eye Density and Bathtub curve
- Hands-on experience in extracting and analyzing S-parameter results with understanding of Insertion loss, Return Loss, TDR, RLGC parameters.
- Understanding/experience in EMI-EMC simulations
- Working experience on any EDA tools in SI, PI, EM is required. Good analog and digital system design fundamentals. Scripting experience will be added advantage
