We’re looking for an Experienced Big Data Engineer to develop and integrate systems that process, analyze and store data from around the web, in order to ensure its successful delivery to our customers.
This role will report to Team manager- R&D

Our engineers are responsible for
- Data pipelines - from our endless data lakes, through choosing the right serving methods and databases, all the way to our services
- Engineering - building large scale, high quality systems to support our data infrastructure and production systems
So, what will you be doing all day?
Your role as part of the Big Data Engineer means your daily responsibilities may include:
- Write complex spark applications that process data and make it accessible to different stakeholder, in high quality and under strict SLA
- Take a major part in designing and implementing complex high scale systems using large variety of technologies
- Work in a heterogeneous team alongside data scientists, data analysts, and fullstack developers. Together you will tackle complex data challenges and bring new solutions and algorithms to production.
- learn new technologies, handle a multitude of systems, and be part of a team of independent developers
- Implement solutions in AWS cloud environment
- Monitor data pipelines and services in order to identify and fix bottlenecks and failures.
This is the perfect job for someone who:
- Has at least 5+ years of server-side software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (C#, Java, Python etc.)
- Has Experience in building data pipelines using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks and Airflow.
- Worked in a cloud environment such as AWS or GCP, and is familiar with its different services
- Holds a BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Is comfortable taking on challenges and learning new technologies, including new coding languages.
- Can effectively prioritize tasks and work independently
- Conveys a strong sense of ownership over the products of the team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
