Mitiga is building its sales Engineering function and is looking for an experienced and creative Manager, Sales Engineering tojoin our team. The right candidate will develop a deep technical and functional understanding of both product capabilities and customer needs to act as an advisor and advocate throughout the sales process.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and manage the sales engineering team as it grows to cover a global footprint
- Act as an interface between the Sales organization and technical staff located in Israel to resolve outstanding issues, engaging product management/engineering as required
- Systemize and deliver emerging client feedback to appropriate internal departments for improvements
- Act as a technical stakeholder to the product and engineering organization and serve as the voice of the sales team
- Enhance the sales process from initial demo to closed deal working across the organization with different stakeholders
- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) engagements on sales opportunities. This includes scoping the appropriate use cases in agreement with customer, set up and configuration of demo environment, and final review of established objectives
- Develop relationships with technical stakeholders inside client organizations
Who you are:
- You have 7+ years of professional experience in managing sales engineers focused on supporting Enterprise accounts
- You have experience leading, guiding and mentoring a sales engineering team
- You are knowledgeable and experienced in Cloud Service Providers including AWS, GCP and Azure. Knowledge of SaaS applications is a plus
- You have experience in Incident Response and the basics of forensics
- You can independently prioritize and execute project tasks in a disciplined manner
- You have a great ability to work with a sales counterpart to achieve booking targets
- You have exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Willing and able to travel in the US and internationally (30%)
It would be nice if you also had:
- Hands-on technical understanding of incident response/computer forensics with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Location: US (Eastern or Central time zones strongly preferred)
