We are looking for a Deep Learning Software Engineer to join the Deep Learning Algorithms group and work with a team of expert engineers on innovative uses of deep learning for games and graphics. The team works with NVIDIA researchers and leading game developers to bring to gamers and 3D professionals groundbreaking AI research from across NVIDIA and the industry, delivered in high-performance packages, such as Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS).
What you’ll being doing:
Research deep learning techniques to enhance the quality and improve the performance of 3D rendering.
Apply deep learning architectures to real-time 3D rendering, computer games and film production pipelines.
Develop tools and products for real-time deep learning model development, PC games, VR and educational applications.
What we need to see:
You have a Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent degree in a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of work-related experience in AI for computer vision
A deep knowledge of software development with strong design, coding and debugging skills.
Expertise with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, as we work as a tightly knit team, always discussing and learning from each other.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with computer graphics programming, renderers for film, interactive simulations, or creating computer games.
Experience with parallel programming and performance optimizations.
Background with automated builds, testing and reporting.
Experience with game engines is a major plus
