Job Description
As Product Management Senior Manager for Salesforce Data Cloud, you will be instrumental in shaping our product vision and driving its success in the market. You will be responsible for designing applications built by the Industries Cloud on Data Cloud designed to bring success to Salesforce customers. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the needs of our customers, supporting their needs as they consume our solutions as part of the Salesforce suite of product solutions.
What are we looking for?
This role demands a dynamic professional who can navigate the intersection of data, applications powered by data and AI designed into real-world solutions that empower users and drive the success of the Salesforce Data Cloud. You will take the lead in efforts to research, design develop and commercialize Industries Cloud products powered by Data Cloud.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partnering with Salesforce Industries Cloud product management to define the product requirements which include the vision, strategy, and roadmap for building data cloud powered applications.
- Taking the lead as the expert of Salesforce Data Cloud to collaborate on the design and implementation of new or extended Salesforce Product Cloud app features that leverage the capabilities of the Salesforce Data Cloud
- Partner with the Industries Cloud product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers to bring these models from conception to successful implementation.
- Understanding customer needs, struggles, and requirements to ensure the Data Cloud applications will address their specific challenges.
- Proficiency in the complete software lifecycle, helping to manage the construction and completion of designed product from a product manager perspective.
- Effective communication skills to convey sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical partners.
- Staying on top of industry and Salesforce specific trends, standard processes, and advancements in tools, platforms, and extensibility to ensure the Data Cloud applications offer a competitive and compelling experience for our customers.
- Working in tandem with user experience, content, and other teams to ensure we offer an intuitive and complete experience for Salesforce Data Cloud customers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce platform and its various products, such as Apex, SFDX, Flow and LWC would be a plus.
- Documentation of constant, accurate, periodic status assessments to accurately reflect the design and product development progress for all engineering teams delivering directly the features or addressing dependencies related to the features.
Qualifications:
- Customer Focused - someone who understands salesforce customers and wants to make sure customers delight in using Data Cloud applications
- Ownership DNA - ability to excite and manage a cross-functional engineering team
- Ability to gather and transform business requirements and market needs into a successful product strategy
- Proven ability to deliver against goals
- Experience in development processes for complex metadata-driven platforms, especially Salesforce
- Solid understanding of Salesforce products and APIs
- Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum
- 6 years or more of product management or equivalent experience with strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
- Degree required; Computer Science, Engineering or Math background desirable.
