Role Summary:
The Vice President of RF Engineering will lead in the planning, development, and deployment of state-of-the-art RF systems essential to our product line. This role combines strategic insight, unparalleled technical expertise, and exceptional managerial skills to steer the RF Engineering department, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Assemble, guide, and mentor a high-caliber team of RF engineers, circuit designers, and system analysts.
Strategic Planning:
Formulate a visionary roadmap for RF technologies that aligns seamlessly with the company's strategic objectives.
RF System Development:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of RF systems, from concept to development and maintenance.
Collaborative Engineering:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Software, and Product Management, to ensure a cohesive integration of RF systems into the broader product portfolio.
System Reviews:
Conduct detailed reviews to validate that RF designs meet performance, reliability, and quality benchmarks.
Vendor and Partner Engagement:
Engage with component suppliers and partners to ensure project milestones are achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Budget Oversight:
Direct departmental budgets with a focus on optimal resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
Intellectual Property:
Lead in the development and protection of intellectual property related to RF engineering.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure all activities and systems comply with industry-specific standards and regulations, particularly those related to the defense sector.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Articulate RF engineering strategies, milestones, and challenges to both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years experience in RF engineering or closely related disciplines.
At least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrable expertise in RF systems development from inception to deployment.
Proficiency in RF simulation tools and software.
Strong understanding of industry-specific compliance and quality standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
