We are seeking a Senior COST QA Engineer, to boost up our growing QA departments, working on Customer Oriented Scenario Testing (COST). In this role, you will analyze, inspect and investigate production customer platforms in order to create an enhanced and detailed view of the customer scale, usage and quality needs.
As a Senior COST QA Engineer at JFrog you will…
- Analyze production environments
- Create tools for analyzing and inspecting customers productions usages
- Write detailed documents on customers behaviors, usages and metrics
- Take essential part in the development cycles, in order to deliver high quality products
- Closely interact with developers, support, and solution engineering regarding customer deployments
- Create and maintain complex testing suites validating product quality
To be a Senior COST QA Engineer at JFrog you need…
A must:
- 7+ years experience in QA testing including automation and manual testing
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Perl, Java, Groovy
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Bug detection abilities and good analysis to root cause detection
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Shippable, TravisCI or similar
- Strong track record in working with metrics-based monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana
- knowledge of logging systems and flows; familiarity with ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with APM tools such as: NewRelic, DataDog
- Analytical approach for troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Self-learner and independent executor
An advantage:
- Experience in writing automation tests for applications in Linux/Unix environments
- Knowledge with tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle
